The couple that reads together, stays together.

So stoked to shoot this couple's wedding in June! Also stoked on their literature choice. A+ you too!

I would always get asked what my favorite thing to shoot is, whether it be people, landscapes, music, etc. and I would d always look at the person in confusion.

All of it. I like to photograph everything.

I guess that makes me a Portrait, Wedding, Event, Music, and everything else in between, Photographer.

From capturing people's emotions and movements, to the atmosphere at a show, to appreciating the tranquility of the wild.

How could you not enjoy it all?

Brittany + James // Portland, OR Engagement Photographer

Wednesday, February 4, 2015

When I found out about Brittany and James' engagement I was ecstatic and knew that I would have to make a weekend trip down to Portland to be able to shoot it.

But I had no idea how much fun it would end up being!

Luckily the two lovebirds were good-natured enough to experiment with me a little bit and were down for a colored powder war, which I came prepared for with the holi powder. We had no idea that it would end up being such a beautiful day in Portland. We went to Cathedral Park to make the most out of the day and the classic St. John's Bridge view.

We also did not expect there to be a man making ginormous bubbles either. Once we told him we were doing an engagement shoot he happily obliged to surround our two lovebirds with bubbles.

How stinkin' cute and jolly are Brittany and James? They literally could not have made my job any easier. That's true love right there. :)

Also quick lil shoutout to Brittany who totally got nailed in the eye with holi powder. You're a trooper, lady!

Apocalypse Park // Undisclosed Location

Friday, January 23, 2015

Apocalypse Park is not the real name, in fact it has no name. It's not even a real park.

Apparently it's a series of houses that fell into the Puget Sound as a result of a gnarly mud slide.

With the scenery of cement stairs in the water and graffiti everywhere, 'Apocalypse Park' sounds pretty fitting.

Needless to say, I'll have to be making a trip here again sometime soon.
